Nursing Department

It is one of the medical specialties that involves taking care of the patient’s health and alleviating their pain. Nursing is also considered one of the specialties that supports the medical profession, as the nurse helps the doctor in providing treatment methods for the patient, such as: needles, medications, monitoring their health condition and providing the doctor with the necessary medical examinations and the medical file of each patient. This specialty requires various criteria and characteristics to practice it in a professional and formal manner.
 
Nursing can also be defined as providing a service directly to a person suffering from a specific health problem in order to improve their health condition and help them stabilise it. It focuses on all physical, mental and spiritual aspects. Nursing may also aim to prevent infection from diseases or provide a helping hand to diagnose, treat and prevent a specific illnesses. Over time, the nurse has become an integral part of the hospital/centre staff, as no centre/hospital can do without them.
 
Nursing goals:
-   Providing health care wholly to the patient. 
-   Preventing diseases and reducing the chances of contracting them. 
-   Reducing and alleviating the patient's suffering. 
-   Maintaining the safety and health of individuals in the best way.
